  • Propose legislation to expedite adjudication of blighted property for demolition or sale.
  • Work with neighborhoods to devote city resources to reduce blight in the community.

Rebuild the streets and crumbling infrastructure

  • Devote more budget and resources to rebuild and repave the streets.
  • Work with federal and state legislators to increase funding for infrastructure repair.
  • Support the formation of public-private partnerships to develop infrastructure improvements.

Improve education

  • Fully support charter school model and funding.
  • Dedicate support to neighborhood schools to provide increased opportunities for learning.
  • Work to provide a safe and strong learning environment for our children.

Economic development

  • Streamline permit process at city hall.
  • Support public-private partnerships to further economic development.
  • Be accountable to the citizens of New Orleans and the business community to devote the full support of the city to retain and bring in new businesses.
